Superbowl Pulled Pork

Although we love our Poultry we cant forget about the other white meat treat that always provides a winning pass in the Food line.

Superbowl Pulled Pork

5 pounds boneless blade pork roast
1 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
2 teaspoons black pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
Soft sandwich buns

Combine all the seasonings in a small bowl and rub evenly over roast. Place meat in a 6-quart slow cooker. Add water. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours, or until pork is very tender.
Remove pork to a large cutting board or platter and let rest for 10-15 minutes. Pull, slice or chop to serve. Serve in buns with barbecue sauce. Makes 16-20 servings. Use leftovers in recipes calling for leftover pulled pork.

No one knows chicken better like Mama Kraft. In addition to being the owner and operator of Reisinger Poultry she is also the keeper of this delicious family recipe.
Here is just one of many reciepes she wanted to share from her family to yours!
Mama Kraft Kabobs
• 1.5 – 2 lbs of Boneless Skinless Tenders
• 2T Olive Oil
• 2T White Wine Vinegar or Champagne vinegar
• 1T Lemon Juice
• 2 Minced garlic cloves / Garlic powder
• 1t Salt
• ¼ t Thyme
• ¼ t Black Pepper
Mix ingredients together and then let marinade for 12-24 hours. Then Skewer with your favorite veggies; like peppers, onions, tomatoes, etc. Grill to perfection and then enjoy
(Cook to 160° internal temp).
This will surely be the winner of the party even if your team isn’t!
